Meet The Team

Miriam Bales, M. Ed.
Miriam Bales is a behavior specialist with 30 years of experience working with students as an educator. For fourteen years, she taught challenging middle school students in the classroom. For the past sixteen years, she has supported multiple schools within her district, working with students ranging from Pre-K to high school.
She holds a degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Brigham Young University, a degree in Elementary Education with a Special Education Endorsement from Weber State University, and a degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University.
Miriam was nominated for Special Educator of the Year in 2008 and was awarded the Bill Jensen – Utah CCBD award in 2018 for her dedication to supporting students with behavior challenges and disorders in Utah. With the creation of School2Home, Miriam looks forward to sharing her experience using behavior strategies and interventions to help children be their best selves.
When not working, you can find her enjoying the great outdoors, spending time with family and friends, or behind the camera perfecting her photography skills.

Elizabeth "Libby" Tallerico, M. Ed.
Elizabeth Tallerico is a former teacher who has 9 years of classroom experience and has spent the past 16 years raising her four children with her husband. Her time in the classroom included working as a para educator, student teacher and eventually a teacher. She has worked in both the elementary and middle school settings to facilitate and teach children with challenging behaviors. Upon starting a family, she has focused on raising her four children, one of whom has Autism. Additionally, Elizabeth was selected as a fellow for the Elizabeth Dole Foundation, an organization that supports military caregivers. She has continued her work and involvement with the foundation since 2016. Elizabeth holds a Master's Degree in Special Education from the University of Utah. She resides in South Jordan, UT where she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, biking, and supporting her children as they follow their passions. Elizabeth looks forward to helping families develop and implement strategies to help their children be their best!
Learn About What We Offer

Behavior Classes
​Miriam and Libby pull from their experience as classroom teachers to help you learn effective behavior management techniques and strategies for supporting your child's behaviors. With each class, you will get a virtual 15 minute coaching session specific to the course and the needs of your child. If 15 minutes is not enough, you can always schedule another session!

Other Services
​Our additional services are designed to provide practical and personalized support for parents navigating their child's educational and behavioral needs. With each of these services, you get 30 minutes of online coaching with Miriam or Libby plus actionable steps and resources to assist you with your child's needs.
